10 days of freedom

While on my first vacation in years (starting today! Eeek!), I hope to do the following:

1. Picnic!
2. Reduce the leaning tower of unread books on my bedside table (hopefully, by reading them)
3. Knit socks
4. Finish the WiPs that I, in various fits of pride and hope, posted opening chapters online before they were even partly done
5. Learn how to bake bread using sponge and poolish starters
6. Brunch!
7. Make flirty dresses
8. Swim
9. Find a choir to join
10. Go visit Type, the new Toronto bookstore

And, of course, see Snakes on a Plane.

beta?

I need someone to do a quick beta for me. The story is Harry Potter fandom, R/S ship, Spans All Eras. It's not done yet but should be finished by tomorrow, and will (I think) top out at 3500 words. And I've double-checked most of it against the HP Lexicon and HP Wiki, so the beta-ing is less about fact-checking and more about pointing out when my syntax is awkward.
