Yay new glasses!
Mar. 30th, 2009 07:46 pmI ordered specs from Zenni Optical a week ago... and they've arrived. From China! (They would actually have been here last Friday, but I wasn't home when the courier dropped by.)
I am extremely happy with them. They're lightweight, flattering, and actually my scrip, which beats my ten-year old pair of glasses hands down. Also, they came with a free case.
And they were only $40 USD! And would have been way less if I hadn't wanted them to be high-index, or if I had been less picky about the style! (Zenni has complete pairs for $8.)
(I would post a picture, but all my attempts ended up with enormous glare on the lenses. So.)
In sum: Zenni Optical - two big thumbs up. I'll never buy glasses from a brick and mortar store again.

So sad. Lorne was a great character, and Andy played him with such grace.
