Happy Easter, everyone! If Easter's not something you celebrate, happy beautiful April morning!

[livejournal.com profile] copperbadge pointed me to The Subway Map Of The Internets.

Did you know there's a band called The Browncoats? And they did a music vid of a rock version of The Hero of Canton? SO HAPPY-MAKING! [YouTube]

[livejournal.com profile] beadattitude linked to a screenshot of this awesome conversation, about what movies are about if you watch them backwards.

I found out that there's a blog made expressively for those who want to feel old. (Though really, if I want to feel old, I can just go listen to TPTB talk about their plans for SGU.)

This Bollywood musical number from the movie Taare Zameen Par is kind of great, but don't click if you have a fear of clowns. [YouTube, found via BoingBoing]

This was posted on FailBlog, but I kind of think the title should be "Action Comics FTW".

If you're crafty, here are some needlework pattern for Watchmen characters. Eeeexcellent case of two forms of nerdiness colliding in an explosion of awesomeness.

If I rode a motorcycle, I might want this helmet. [BoingBoing]

I don't even watch Psych (yet) but this Gus-centric vid rocks.

A large proportion of the stuff I want is video-gamed themed. Like this crocheted Mario blanket.

However, I also want this Darth Vader toaster, like the one lucky lucky [livejournal.com profile] sabinelagrande has, and it has nothing to do with video games. ... except for Star Wars-based video games.

You've probably all seen these already, but just in case: Stargate-themed cakes!

[livejournal.com profile] casspeach wrote By Strength & Virtue, where the spirit of a wronged woman curses Arthur. Um. To make him fall into insatiable lust with Merlin. So they have to fix it. (Arthur/Merlin, NC-17, a little dark)

[livejournal.com profile] sequinedfairy wrote five ways to make colin morgan smile (with a little help from katie mcgrath), which is totally sap, but somehow still divine. (Colin/Bradley, sweetness, PG-13)

[livejournal.com profile] steammmpunk drew this, where they're AU!space cowboys. Or something. Possibly Arthur is just playing dressup. :-) In any case, it's mesmerizingly good.

[livejournal.com profile] tierfal wrote Inevitability, aka, the one where they're roommates at uni. Arthur is confused and pining; Merlin's waiting for him to get his head on straight. Lovely.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] crack_van, I found Han Solo And The Princess by Lasos -- a story about five times Han asked Leia to marry him. Leia's voice is wonderful here, spot-on and achy. (Star Wars)

In SG-1 land, [livejournal.com profile] synecdochic wrote Calibrate, where Daniel gives Jack a backrub. It's not even a sexytimes backrub, but it still made me a little... guh.

Recs: SGA
[livejournal.com profile] aesc wrote The Hard Sel, where Rodney is a selmellier (a guy who knows his salt) and John's some dude who knows Teyla and wanders into a food trade show. A snippet of delicious AU silliness.

[livejournal.com profile] eruthros deconstructs why John kissing Larrin is incredibly queer. Excellent application of acafan knowledge. ;-)

And now I'm gonna clean out my crawl space. Which is exactly what I should be doing this beautiful spring day, I know.

Yeah, why clean a crawl space? You could be lying in bed playing video games and reading Merlin fic all day! I mean, uh... enjoying... spring?

weeeelll, I wrote that, then I started reading through the rest of my flist. :-) so yes, I think I will be following your prescription.

It's the procrastination hierarchy, y'see: reading fic; cleaning crawlspace... or studying. (I can probably find some other things to throw in there before studying, too, if I work at it. :-)

Dude. I so do not have the time to make Rorschach needlepoint.

...Or do I? No, dammit, it is Easter and the Joann's is closed!

ALSO, DUDE, COVET THE SG WEDDING CAKE. Damn. It makes me want to get married.
