I want to say it was a very good year

Things What I Am Resolved On
merrilily's possibly ill-conceived list of resolutions for 2007

1. More dinner parties. Lots and lots of dinner parties, featuring dishes that make liberal use of pomegranate molasses. And pesto. Though not together.

2. No more pretending that fanfic/fandom/long, involved discussions about the Buffyverse are a passable substitute for, oh, I don't know... partnersex. *headdesk* God, this one makes me cringe. Hi, I'm Rachel and I'm a pasty-skinned geekgirl with RPG-themed t-shirts.

3. Writing. Non-sporadically. And publishing, also non-sporadically. And perhaps finishing my novel and a screenplay.

4. Running, same note as above. I think I'm going to train for the Toronto marathon. I've never run more than 1.5 miles at one time before... but I've got ten months. Um. I'm panicking a little, now.

5. Dating (see number 2), although the thought just vexes me utterly, because it means I'm going to have to meet new people. Whom I haven't already seen naked. And make small talk.

In other news, I now have three blogs (work, life, fangirling) and am afraid I'm going to succumb to some kind of personality-fracturing as a result.

Ah. I see. I'd be scared to date friends for fear we'd be enemies afterwards.

As for lazy, most of your resolutions seem aimed at tackling that. So I have high hopes of you becoming a fast enough runner to hunt down romantic prey - and then you can post all about it on LJ! ;-)
