For those of you who read Star Trek fic and think, piteously, "Good, but needs MOAR SPOCK" (yes, [personal profile] thefourthvine, dearie, I am thinking of you), may I recommend you click over to read the novel-length Don't Stop Believing by [personal profile] kianspo? (Link to Master Post for the story.)

Things you need to know first!

1. It's the story o' Spock, pre-, during and post-canon, and the people who fall in love with him (or, in the case of T'Pring, are blind, blind, blind). Features some excellent Spock/Pike and Spock/Uhura, is currently kind of pre Kirk/Spock. None of this seems forced! And the Spock/Pike parts are kind of heart-breaking, because who doesn't adore Christopher Pike? Also, this summary doesn't do it justice.

2. It's a WiP, but it's already pretty long, and a) it's well-crafted and b) it doesn't seem to be losing steam.

3. Warnings apply. Please read them. (The only bit I found actually warning-worthy was section 1.1 where, in a class for command-track students, Pike shows them a video of what can happen if you're taken prisoner. The description of the interrogation is extremely unpleasant. But it's over quick! Helpful tip: if you don't want to read it, click over to 1.1 and scroll halfway down the page and the uncomfortable part will be over.)

It is an extremely satisfying story. Has just the right amount of Spock -- that is to say, you couldn't cram in more Spock if you tried.

Okay, maybe there could be more appearances by old!Spock, but then I might expire of Spock-satiation.
