Knife sharpeners are great! What sort of uses does the recipient usually put their kitchen to? Cooking, baking, cake decorating, home-brewing, party hosting? Perhaps an unmeltable squid-shaped whisk?
Well recently I've been making tuna melts but couldn't find any good relish, only good pickles. So I grated pickles to make relish! I've also used it for cheese I wanted to melt very quickly, chocolate... lots of things!
