Aug. 25th, 2007 04:23 pmIt's raining, which I love, and I just escalated my PayPal dispute to a claim, which I do not love. PayPal emailed me a notice to acknowledge my claim, which says things like "you may be asked to provide a letter from an excerpt asserting the inferior quality of the product you received." WTF? Who do I ask for an expert opinion on faulty Chinese bootlegs?

So this issue has to go through PayPal, not eBay(or wherever)?

Yeah, eBay looks at negative feedback; PayPal ascertains whether to reverse the charge.
