It's raining, which I love, and I just escalated my PayPal dispute to a claim, which I do not love. PayPal emailed me a notice to acknowledge my claim, which says things like "you may be asked to provide a letter from an excerpt asserting the inferior quality of the product you received." WTF? Who do I ask for an expert opinion on faulty Chinese bootlegs?

not to laugh at your problem, but this thought made me chuckle:

You should get someone who works at Blockbuster to write that 'expert opinion'

So this issue has to go through PayPal, not eBay(or wherever)?

Laugh away! It was the only chuckle I've had in this mess so far, which is why I was sharing.

And that would totally make a Blockbuster employee's year. If PayPal asks me for "expert opinion", I will absolutely do that.

Yeah, eBay looks at negative feedback; PayPal ascertains whether to reverse the charge.
