I just watched the first 4 eps of Studio 60 and OH. OH IT'S AWESOME. Bromance is one of the best things in the world. Men who love each other! And are there for each other! And clasp the back of each other's necks! I know there's lots of Matt/Danny out there but in this case? I just want to bask in the glory of their friendship.

Also -- how awesome is Timothy Busfield? And if his mad acting skillz didn't make him great enough, wikipedia tells me that "[as] a baseball lover and amateur athlete, Busfield has moonlighted as a semi-pro pitcher." It's not that I like baseball, per se, it's just that being a semi-pro pitcher kicks the stuffing out of paying rent through waiting tables.

It seems to me that all the good shows get taken off the air way too early, and the boring ones manage to survive. TV these days just doesn't entertain me any more.

I didn't have tv for a year (broken rabbit ears; no cable), and now do, and am feeling gluttonous. Also, the novelty of seeing a show as it airs, instead of as a DVD box set a year later, is incredible!

Mind you, having tv has reminded me of how little I need tv. And how it's nice to not have commercials.
