May. 26th, 2007 05:05 pmIt occurred to me last night that Firefox would probably handle iMeem better than IE did, and maybe there was a world of vids I was missing out on.
OMG THERE IS.
(Also, Fox hasn't gotten to iMeem yet, so the SGA pretty is abundant. *gibbers with joy*)
I am so in awe of the talent I see wielded on iMeem. Such artfulness! Such craft! Such wit! (Am bookmarking madly, so check my del.icio.us account if you want to see what I've found.)
Please, o flist, rec me stuff! And while you're at it, does anyone know if the "White & Geeky" McKay vid which had been on YouTube is hosted elsewhere? I think the creator's name was wiccanslyr.
(Also, where can I watch
killabeez's "Closer"? I'll go unleash the power of Google, but this is so the faster way to find it.)
In this one, totally out-lier case, Google won. Tsk. I found "Closer" here on YouTube, although I will be delighted to replace that link with something that benefits Killa, and not the person who uploaded her work under their account without her permission, if such a site exists and someone can point me to it.

Have you seen Lim's (http://sublim.imeem.com) SGA vids? I particularly recommend "I Am/Lamb," a John Sheppard vid set to Johnny Cash's "Mercy Seat." It's just... I have no words to properly do it justice. Poignant, aching, stoic, stylish, about what Atlantis means to him and what life on Earth was like before, about what he's leaving and what he thinks he deserves -- shipless as well, in case any of the possibilities squick you. :-) She's very talented... and she's using a better film editor than what many other people have at their disposal, so her work feels more connected and less "these are the bits I downloaded from YouTube and spliced together to Kiss."
