Run, don't walk, to go read [livejournal.com profile] leah's new SGA robot-verse!AU story, Iron And Steel.

Seriously. This is the best thing you'll read all week. And the series, as a whole, is the some of the best fiction (not fanfiction, just fiction in general) I've ever read.

If you haven't read the preceding stories yet, the other two are The Soul & The Company Store and Muscle And Blood And Skin And Bones.

This whole series is a remix of [livejournal.com profile] lavvyan's Male Enhancement (although [livejournal.com profile] leah's work grew far beyond remix territory). [livejournal.com profile] lavvyan's original story is also wonderful and worth reading, and, in fact, you might want to read it first.

Thanks for the rec! :D

PS: The author is just leah. It's a bit confusing because she uses their combined writing journal.

I just read it. So good, so good! And I'm pretty sure I would have missed this sequel without your rec because I'm mostly reading Merlin right now and not looking as closely at SGA. (Saw your correction and just wanted to say that the whole series, beginning with the first part of the Male Enhancement remix, is by [livejournal.com profile] leah. [livejournal.com profile] springwoof hasn't written in this robot!John universe at all. ^^°)

Dude! *slaps forehead* Right you are. I was falling asleep on my feet last night, and obviously not paying any attention to that "leah writing alone" tag on The Soul & The Company Store. Fixed!

Thank you so much for pointing the way, hon. I didn't know about the second story. Fantastic.

I was tripping over my feet to rec Iron & Steel, it was so good. And then I took a breath and realized that it might be useful to link to the rest of the stuff, too.

So you're welcome. God, [livejournal.com profile] leah and [livejournal.com profile] springwoof are so good. *takes a moment to be awed*
