I subscribe to 28 blogs via Google Reader, a list which generates about one hundred posts a day. When I don't have time, I'll star the things that I want to come back to, and then I'll go through them on Sunday and figure out what to share with you.

Which is all by way of saying, er. Holy mama, I have a lot of stuff today. Which is why the Sunday Links & Recs post is actually two posts: Links, and Recs.

I don't want to bury this in the cut text, so please pass on that there's a $750 grant available for SFF writers over 50, from the Speculative Literature Foundation. If you know someone who qualifies, tell 'em about it.

I can't decide if I'm amazed or worried about the Nano (aka the $2000 car made in India). [BoingBoing]

I adore this typeface made from stacked books.

If I had a toddler, I would buy these blocks.

And I think I'll make myself some 1UP cupcakes tonight. [Bookshelves Of Doom]

Think Geek posted this Tauntaun sleeping bag as an April Fools joke, but so many people want it that they're gonna try to make it for real. Which is awesome.

Someone thinks Claudia from the Babysitter's Club would wear this beer sweater. I disagree. But I would wear it.

I would also wear these zombie high heels [BoingBoing]

And these crayon rings.

And this bicycle tee, which I think someone posted over at [livejournal.com profile] john_farr.

I don't play golf, but if I did, I'd want to try this 830-metre hole, where you have to get taken to the top of a cliff via helicopter in order to play it. [YouTube]

Frank Zappa wrote a cough drop commercial. Or, at least, he wrote the soundtrack. Trippy. [YouTube]

Feelin' rough around the edges? Feels great to trim the hedges! [Creativity Online] (My sister says she wants to see a sequel called, "Dammit, Shave Your Balls")
