It's going to be a while before we can use bioplastics to make action figures in our kitchen, but I have hope that eventually it'll work out! Here's a How-To post, if you want to get started. [ShapeWays, via BoingBoing]

Do you guys read Sady Doyle over at Tiger Beatdown? She writes about ladybusiness, and does, I think, a pretty awesome job. Anyway, she's decided to run a pledge drive, since writing the blog is work, and she likes doing it, and it would be nice if she could buy groceries. I sent her the coupla bucks kicking around my PayPal account. If you also read her blog, and you like it, and you're able to send money, perhaps you should!
If you're in the middle of the snowpocalypse, it might be a good time to learn to snag stuff with a whip! (Though really, when's a bad time to learn that? ... okay, I guess "when you really need that vine on the other side of the gaping pit" would be a bad time.)

Out of Print Clothing Co. has just launched a series of shirts for women, featuring reprints of beautiful book cover art. Obviously, I want all of them.

So apparently, someone at the Belarusian national tv station saw The Big Bang Theory, and was all "Well, it's pretty good, but it would be better in our language". Behold The Physicists! Word on the street is that they're reusing TBBT plotlines -- can anyone tell which TBBT story this ep is? [BoingBoing]
Isn't it amazing that no matter what entirely ridiculous thing Robert Downey Jr is doing, you still kind of want to lick him?
The Daleks did warn us that resistance is futile. Too bad this guy didn't listen.
