There's been a death in my family, and I keep trying and failing to write a post about it, even though I have been answering the phone and the front door every five minutes, and thus talking about it all day.

In lieu of that post, this one: please to be sending comfort fic. HP, Inception, SGA, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Suits and Trek would all be appreciated.

If there's a piece of original fiction being posted online that I've not yet discovered that you would consider in this category, that would be good too. (I accept that there's only one freece, though, and that she writes slow.)

Lolanimals and general items of hilarity also welcomed.

Happy endings, long word counts, and a story I can get lost in for a while.

Hm. I don't really read many stories over 10,000 words, because I prefer to finish a fic in one sitting and most of what I read, especially in large fandoms, I find through someone else's rec or through an aggregate community like Kink Bingo and investigate on a whim. If you like Community and haven't read it yet, thingswithwings recent one with the pie is DELIGHTFUL, but I can't think of much else that's long and happy (I'm also not a very diligent bookmarker). If I stumble across anything good I'll try to remember to flag it for you.
