Guys, I escaped the self-herding goats, general lack of connectivity, and skin-destroying climate of southwest africa, and am back home. (Only temporarily escaped, though. Am probably returning with a contract position in January.) And I have access to a loaner computer! Whoohoo!

What are the fannish haps? Anything hit the fan while I was gone?

yeah, teen wolf is what i was going to say too. here's my advice: don't bother resisting. evvvvveryone is going there - not sure why this fandom, of all fandoms, is uniting us all, but there it is - and once you get into season 2, you realize suddenly you're not just watching to mock the horrible acting and effects. you care about the stories and characters (aside from stiles, who you will care about right away) and you have feeling besides "lolllll."

it's possible that by "you," i mean, "me."

No no, I'm there already. But this might end up being like me + SG:A, where I read the fic but avoid the show like it's made of herpes.

(idk why i'm pushing that. i gave up on sga after i couldn't handle the awfulness anymore. but i see myself sticking with TW for a while. we'll see.)
