What 5 pieces of advice would you give to characters in your fandom(s)?

1. Bring grenades
2. Keep your dungeon/brig/small holding compartment off the cargo bay oiled and ready
3. Tell your friends and/or co-workers where you're going. You don't have to be as specific as "out to be kidnapped by hillfolk," or "indirectly on my way to Azkaban," but consider leaving a note with the general locale and the reason for your outing
4. Never throw away a uniform once used to break into an enemy facility.
5. Stay away from Faith. If that doesn't work, bring a video camera.
